In africa many of the african children do not get the oppotunity to have a decent meal like many of singaporean kids, most of the things singaporean children take for granted african children never thought they will ever have such as money e.g. I hope more kind people would start funds to help people in africa and other poorer countries.

i read this interesting website on children in cambodia. i found a page that described the current situation of orphanages in cambodia. it seem that parents are now using the places as convenient places to leave their children so that they get a better life and hence discard their duties as parents.

we will have a chance to visit Combodia end of the year.
I know that the country has been through very rough times with a war in the last 30 years
there are many many poeple sufferring so close to us.

Dad and mum gives me more than enough daily

I am glad that now more of people my age who cannot afford to eat recess can get to do so
I read before that they save to buy other stuff too

i know my church supports the Chan Su Lan methodist home for children
every year there is an update on how the children are doing too.....

What every child wishes for

I thought of what all children want in this world
things that fortunate children have and have been always taken for granted

1) Parents
2) Food and shelter
3) friends
4) playthings
5) going to school
6) nice clothes

My parents have taken me to places where the children have so much lesser than us
I also know that in our own country, there are many children who do not hace what we have
